Collection: Gary Prior - Music Photography

With over 35 years of experience as a lensman, Gary Prior has a formidable reputation in the industry for both his music pictures and his remarkable collection of sports photographs of some of the world’s greatest athletes.

Starting out as a freelancer for the Daily Telegraph, the BBC, and ITN, he quickly gained a reputation for the ability to sense the ‘big shot’. His live music photographs manage to embody the energy and dynamism of the performer. His collection includes some unique pictures of some of the world’s best-known entertainers, including Elbow’s seminal performance at the London O2 arena in 2015, The Libertines live at the Wirral Festival in 2017, and Florence and the Machine at the Manchester Arena in 2018. He also enjoys capturing more up-and-coming musicians who haven’t quite made the arena circuit just yet, and his pictures of artists such as Sam Fender and Lianne La Havas capture the intimacy of smaller festival performances and gigs.

Gary Prior music photographs are rare and collectible. Fortunately, at Burst Gallery we have an exclusive range of Gary Prior posters featuring some of your favorite performers, including Mumford and Sons, Marc Almond, and The Chemical Brothers.
